Fire-resistant mixes
Since sixties of the XX century there has been observed an appreciable growth of production of fire-resistant mixes used for manufacturing monolithic fire-resistant lining thermal units in various industries (metallurgical, chemical, petrochemical, power, building, pulp-and-paper and many others). There are basic advantages of monolithic lining in comparison with brick:
- Adaptability to manufacture of stacking and installation.
- Absence of numerous seams.
- The opportunity to produce/manufacturing products of any shape.
- Much lower expenditures of labour at stacking.
- Maintainability lining.
The thing that limited application of fire-resistant concrete was that it conceded in a range of properties, first of all in fire resistance and porosity, to bricks of similar structure.
Today the modern level of technology development allows to make hydraulically hardening dry fire-resistant mixes for manufacturing concrete which do not concede, but frequently even surpass formed refractores(bricks) in all basic properties.
We use about 50 kinds of raw materials both of Russian origin and purchased abroad to make about 10 thousand tons of mixes and products with very wide range of properties a year. There properties include temperature of application up to 1800 Û', density from 0,7 g/sm3 up to 3,2 g/sm3, durability up to 150 N/ƒƒ2, and Al2O3 contents up to 99 %.
From a wide range of concrete made by our company it is always possible to choose a material most suitable for certain conditions of operation with an optimum combination of fire resistance, thermostability, heat conductivity, and durability.
Mixes can be rendered by casting, vibroforming, shotcreting, stuffing. At our enterprise we can produce products of the most difficult configuration with weight from several kgs up to 10-20 tons.
During many years our refractories have been successfully used by hundreds enterprises of various industries from Estonia up to Khabarovsk, from the Far North up to Turkmenia.
The products output corresponds to specifications and has hygienic certificates. Each party is accompanied by the quality certificate and manuals. The enterprise has all necessary licenses. We design furnaces and lining, we consult concerning selection of fire-resistant mixes, we render the technical help during carrying out of lining works.
