The summer of 2003 in foundry shop N 2 "NKAZ" spent work on repair of bottom 25-ton mixer N 8 with replacement brick liner baths of a mixer on monolithic liner from fire-resistant concrete of manufacture "Aliter-Aksi", following kinds of concrete have been used:

• ALAKS-1,4-1250б as heat-insulating a layer
• ALKOR-37-25б as shut-off a layer
• ALIT-72бтуAl and ALIT-72тAl as a material of a working layer

The thermal balance has been calculated so that the point liquidus aluminium was in shut-off a layer and the temperature of a casing did not exceed 70 °C.

Concrete of a working layer contained the antimoistening additive preventing penetration melt in liner and increase of corundum. The distinctive characteristic of concrete of a series "ALIT" is the low contents of cement, the low porosity, increased resistance to thermal shock (see the review "Concrete with the lowered contents of cement for РМБЧЙМШОП-foundry units of aluminium manufacture").

The arch of a mixer was carried out by traditional way from a brick.

Also on "NKAZ" with success mix бLIT-72-бту-Al for manufacturing the filtered boxes of installation of a filtration of aluminium "FAIS" has been tested. At stacking in the form this mix does not demand significant vibration that simplifies manufacturing products on her basis (see a photo). The product gets durability in day after concreting on air.
